Privacy Policy

Your privacy comes first.

What stays on your phone. Every scan runs on this device. Camera frames from the infrared and lens tools are looked at live and never saved or sent. Magnetometer readings stay on the phone. Scan results, including network names, addresses and device names, are stored only here and are never uploaded.

Places. If you add a check or a comment to Places, we store it with your anonymous name, the place, your result and the areas you checked. Your location is used once to confirm you’re near the place, then thrown away. Wi-Fi names, device names and addresses are never sent.

What we collect. Anonymous usage and crash data through Google Firebase, so we can see what works and what breaks. Counts, timings and screen names only, plus a random install id. It never includes your scan results, network names, addresses, camera frames or your location. No ads and no advertising id.

Your account. When you finish setup, an anonymous account is made so a subscription can come back if you reinstall. It holds no name, email or contact details.

Subscriptions. Purchases are handled by Google Play. We check them on our server to confirm they’re genuine, which stores only your anonymous account id and the subscription status.

Notifications. Reminders are made on your phone. We may also send messages about your subscription or places you follow, which needs a push token tied to your anonymous account.

Your choices. Turn notifications off in Settings. Delete my data removes your sweeps, trusted devices and settings from this phone, and your anonymous account, checks, comments, subscription status and push token from our servers. Uninstalling removes only what’s on your phone, so use Delete my data first if you want everything gone.

Where your data is held. Your anonymous account is kept by Google Firebase, which signs the app in, on servers in the United States. Your checks, comments, the places you follow, your subscription status, push token and any feedback you send are stored with Cloudflare, in the Asia-Pacific region, until you delete them.
